Appyness is a full-service mobile app and digital marketing agency based in Austin, Texas. Founded in March 2017 by a group of friends and former coworkers, who have a passion for application and digital marketing, we service mobile apps and businesses worldwide. With an extensive background in app marketing, digital marketing, and design, Appyness was started to help apps and businesses, that we're passionate about, be successful.
Appyness isn't your typical agency. We don't believe in the cookie-cutter approach, where one strategy applies to all of our clients. Instead, we focus on analyzing your app or website, revenue targets and demographics to create targeted programs that ultimately maximize your budget and revenue, while helping you Find Your Appyness. Glenn Roberts
Founder
Starting his career in SEM more than 10 years ago, Glenn progressed his way up to an Account Director at several ad agencies, before making the transition into tech marketing four years ago. After leading the global Digital Marketing team at a Swiss-based software company, Glenn founded Appyness in 2017.
A native Texan, Glenn received his undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin and his MBA from Marylhurst University in Portland, Oregon. In his spare time, Glenn loves to travel, University of Texas sports, and sea kayaking. On any weekend, you can probably find him hanging out with the Appyness team at a brewery or learning Swift.
Matthew Hooks
Co-Founder
Matthew got his start in Digital Advertising as an SEO Specialist at a local Austin agency. Further along in his career, as Director of SEM, Matt’s focus shifted to tracking and analysis, conversion rate optimization and site flows. More recently, his focus has been on strategic and responsive web design, video production and promotion, and business operations for Leverage Marketing where he serves as COO and Partner.
Matthew is a born-and-raised Austinite and graduate of the University of Texas at Austin. His hobbies include photography, cycling, and hiking. He also considers himself to be on a never ending quest for the best chicken fried chicken and chile relleno.
Dina Riddle
Creative Director
Dina has a background in studio art but became interested in graphic design right after college. After earning her Master’s Degree in Publication and Design from the University of Baltimore, Dina worked as a print design specialist for University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC) but later moved to Austin, where she worked for a mobile app tech startup. She has extensive experience in digital, print and mobile, as well as working with metric-driven marketing teams.
Dina lives in Austin with her husband and dog. In her spare time, she loves traveling, practicing her calligraphy, and painting landscapes.
